We are looking for an experienced Advice Worker to join our team.
Are you keen to use your skills and experience to help local people living in Sunderland?
If you are committed to a rights-based way of working and using your skills to ensure that people have access to excellent advice, then we hope that you will want to join our team!
We would particularly welcome applications from people with a specialist interest in any of the following: energy advice, fuel poverty, debt advice, income maximisation, housing advice and working to support vulnerable clients.
The post is:
Full Time:Monday - Friday 9.00- 5.00pm
Hours: 37 hrs per week with some flexibility to cover occasional out of hours work
Work base: ShARP centre in Shiney Row plus some outreach work into other community settings in Sunderland.
Salary: SCP 18 (£30,559) - SCP 22 (£32,654)
Holidays: 28 days per year plus Bank Holiday entitlement rising to
30 days per year plus Bank Holiday entitlement after 2 years
